Online dating is an activity that could help people find a long-lasting relationship.

Llana Angel, writing on the Jewish Journal, noted she is using the service to try and find her Mr Right.

"Dating is not easy. It takes patience and faith. It also requires a sense of humour and compromise," she added.

Ms Angel observed that as long as she keeps the right attitude, she is confident she will find someone that special someone.

The writer remarked that when she visited a farmer's market and saw all of the families interacting with each other, she decided it was time to put action back into her life.

Ms Angel continued by saying that if on a date, one thing she cannot handle is desperation from the suitor.

In order to combat any nerves on the first meet, single soldiers and others might find it useful to prepare a set of questions to ask the person.
