An array of entertainment will be on offer for those attending a special event at Liverpool's Philharmonic Hall tomorrow (February 26th).

Raising funds for Help for Heroes, the event is being hosted by BBC Radio Merseyside's Billy Butler and there will be displays from local dance troupes, musicians and choirs.

Lord mayor councillor Hazel Williams says: "Not only will [attendees] be treated to an enchanting evening of music and dance, but they will have the opportunity to give something back to the heroes who give so much for our country."

A raffle will also take place, with the winner receiving a night in the Hope Street Hotel, dinner at the London Carriageworks and tickets to see the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra perform at the Philharmonic Hall, which was built in the 1930s and is Grade II-listed.

Alongside the charity efforts for Help for Heroes, tomorrow's event will collect money for the Army Benevolent Fund, the Soldiers' Charity and SSAFA Forces Help.
