US rockers Linkin Park are donating all of the profits from their next single to Help for Heroes (H4H).

The band is due to release Castle of Glass on November 12th and the proceeds of its sale will help servicemen and women who were injured while serving their country.

Bryn Parry, co-founder and chief executive officer of H4H, is delighted with the group's generosity.

"Linkin Park are clearly passionate about the armed forces and understand the issues they face. By donating proceeds from Castle of Glass to H4H they will make a real difference," he added.

It is not the first time the band have thrown their support behind a good cause, as they previously backed the Power the World initiative, which seeks to improve access to electricity around the globe.

Linkin Park have sold over 50 million albums in their career to date and because of their commitment, H4H is guaranteed to get at least 29p from every forthcoming record sale.
