Lineker reveals secret of his eternal youth

Lads wondering just how footballing legend Gary Lineker, 53, manages to keep his youthful looks have been let into the star's secret – he moisturises every night. 

In an interview with the Sunday Times magazine, he also gives credit to drinking lots of water, which helps to keep him – and his skin – sufficiently hydrated, the Daily Mail reports.

Having managed to bag himself a model who is almost 20 years younger than him, Lineker might well inspire the lads who thought nighttime skin routines were just for the ladies, to pick up a tub of Nivea.

When asked if he was ever mocked for going for someone almost two decades his junior, Lineker responded: "No, I got hearty congratulations."

The couple recently faced a slightly bizarre turn of events when it was reported online that his wife Danielle was dead. Lineker took to the social networking site Twitter to reassure fans that his beloved was in fact "alive and well".
