A trio of rugby stars from the Leicester Tigers team will put on a range of coaching sessions in a bid to raise money for Help for Heroes.

The players have decided they will visit local clubs to pass on their skills and advice to amateurs in order to raise cash for a charity that is very close to their hearts, reports the Leicester Mercury.

Anthony Allen, Ryan Lamb and Jordan Crane are the players who have decided to make the gesture, with Syston Rugby Club this week taking its turn to train under their guidance.

Allen explained: "We thought of the military because there was a lot of similarities to rugby with the team ethics and team-building stuff."

He added that the number one reason for the players doing their bit to raise money for the good cause is that they want to be able to help to provide support for those who come out of the services with nothing to fall back on.ADNFCR-2867-ID-801631864-ADNFCR
