Going out for a pint at the weekend is an activity that plenty of Britons enjoy.

However, the experience is unlikely to be the same again after Colin Flitter unveiled his latest venture.

Called the Hop On Inn, the bar is actually a renovated 1966 red Routemaster bus and it comes with beer pumps, a lounge and a stage on the top deck for bands.

Mr Flitter got the inspiration for the idea after visiting the US and seeing an old English bus sat outside a pub.

He bought the vehicle for £18,500 on eBay and has spent a further £14,000 updating the features, such as replacing the original chairs with more comfortable ones.

"The bus has made quite a big impact and has brought back a lot of memories," Mr Flitter said.

It will certainly be a different experience for drinkers, but unfortunately it does not drop you home after a night out.
