A store in Kentucky was damaged recently when a woman chose to buy a brand new car and drive it straight into it.

June Ann Blocker reportedly has a dislike of the US chain Kroger, having worked there in the past, and this is the second time in 15 years she has driven a vehicle into one of its outlets.

She once again targeted a Kroger store in the Kentucky town of Elizabethtown, although it was a different branch to the one hit in her last attempt.

Two people sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident, although nobody was seriously hurt.

A friend of Ms Blocker is quoted by Metro as saying: "I knew about the incidents, but it never changed how I felt about June. I care about her. She's always been a wonderful person to me."

She is now facing several charges after being arrested by police, including criminal mischief and driving under the influence.ADNFCR-2867-ID-801692009-ADNFCR
