Actress Joanna Lumley is auctioning off her Olympic Torch tracksuit to raise money for a military charity.

Proceeds from the sale will go to Tickets for Troops after Lumley carried the torch earlier this year as her Absolutely Fabulous character Patsy.

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, she admitted she was tremendously proud to have been involved in the Olympic Games, which were held in London from July 27th to August 12th.

"I think if my tracksuit raises some money for a wonderful charity like Tickets For Troops, then it is fitting that I can recognise their dedication and work," Lumley added.

The tracksuit is listed on eBay – the current highest bid is £176 – and will be sold off on August 25th.

Lumley became a supporter of the charity, which can count Gary Lineker and Samantha Cameron among its patrons, after she hosted a fundraising event at the Royal Opera House last year.
