Online dating is becoming an increasingly popular way for people to meet potential mates who share similar interests, values and goals.

The Chicago Tribune reported that the internet is opening up even more options for singles than ever before – users can exchange messages and emails and even participate in a video chat before deciding to meet face-to-face.

Online dating’s popularity has been fuelled even further by the fact there is less stigma associated with internet relationships than there may have been in the past.

According to Chicago couple Micaela De Alba and Casey Zgutiwicz, who are now engaged to be married in Mexico next June, online dating helped them learn even more about each other.

The pair commented that they don’t consider their story to be particularly unusual.

Ms De Alba said: “We’ve moved beyond it.”

Writer Andrew Keller posted on Lon’s Article Directory recently that those who are looking for a date online may wish to prepare a list of questions in advance.

Single soldiers may find they can break the ice by asking their prospective partner about their previous experiences with dating on the web – but should not shy away from answering questions themselves.ADNFCR-2867-ID-19913160-ADNFCR
