Indian man becomes a father at 96

Ramjeet Raghav is not your typical parent.

The Indian has just welcomed his second child in three years with his partner Shakuntala.

While this seems like a fairly normal family pattern, there is one big difference – Ramjeet is 96 years old.

Indeed, it means he has broken his own world record for being the oldest dad, as the previous mark of 94 was set by him two years ago.

Despite his advancing years, Ramjeet shows no signs of slowing down, although he said there are no plans to add to his brood any time soon.

Amazingly, the man practised celibacy up until ten years ago when he met his now wife Shakuntala, who is 52, but he certainly seems to be making up for lost time.

"My neighbours are jealous and they keep asking me for my secret, but all I tell them is that it is God's will," Ramjeet stated.

He did reveal though that he consumes a lot of almonds, butter and milk.
