An ice show is to be held in order to raise cash to support wounded troops.
According to the Flintshire Chronicle, the Deeside Ice Skating Club will put on the wintry extravaganza on Remembrance Sunday (November 14th) at the Queensferry rink.
Entry will be £5 for adults and £3 for children and concessions and every penny will go toward Help for Heroes, a charity designed to look after servicemen and women injured in the line of battle.
The rink itself has also offered to waive its hiring fee.
Guests who will attend the spectacle – which will see both children and adults on their skates – include representatives from RAF Sealand and Hightown Barracks in Wrexham.
Previously, a total of £4,000 was raised for Help for Heroes and the Rushmoor Mallards Disability Group by Britain's synchronised swimmers, including Tom Daley, after they took time out from training to perform in a charity event.
