Home ruined by tornado but PS4 survives

A tornado in the US has blown away an entire home, but strangely the one item that was not ruined was a PlayStation 4.

The games console escaped unscathed when the poor weather swept through the state of Illinois, bringing many properties to the ground.

However, a photo posted on Reddit after the event appears to show one man who is relieved he did not lose one of his prized possessions, as he is posing with an intact PS4 in his arms.

A friend posted the snap online and wrote: "He lost his house in the tornado yesterday but there's some light at the end of the tunnel … the PS4 survived."

Winds of up to 190mph were recorded in the town of Washington over the weekend and as many as 400 homes are feared to have been wrecked by the tornado, reported the Daily Star.

We think it is highly unlikely that many other affected individuals will be seeking solace in the fact their games console survived.
