Hockey girls bare all for Help for Heroes

A group of female hockey players have bared all in an attempt to raise money for brave troops.

The girls from Potters Bar Hockey Club got their kit off to pose for a saucy calendar – the profits from which will be donated to Help for Heroes, the Welwyn Hatfield Times reports.

With the help of strategically placed sports equipment, seven of the group were able to feature in the product with their modesty intact.

Member of the team Shelley Farmer said taking part in the event was great fun.

She added: "Many of the girls involved in the calendar have personal links to the armed forces and really wanted to support the incredible work that Help for Heroes does."

Meanwhile, the Help for Heroes cause has also been given a boost thanks to the efforts of a bus driver from Amblecote.

Joke-loving Dave Gerrard refrained from making a gag throughout December and managed to raise £770 for the charity.
