Hobbies ‘important when looking for love’

People may find it easier to find love online than others because of their hobbies.

Analysis of the behaviour of Australian single individuals has found that men and women are attracted to certain pastimes.

Females are interested by males who volunteer, while guys like ladies who are outgoing, enjoy visiting bars and nightclubs and keep fit.

Online relationship expert Dr Gian Gonzaga stated one of the main reasons that volunteering is well received is that it shows compassion and kindness.

"It's always interesting comparing the differences between men and women, especially when it comes to our hobbies and interests," he added.

In terms of what men view as a turn off, going to the cinema, reading and watching TV all featured highly.

This is something that ladies may want to bear in mind when looking for love, as adopting a more active lifestyle is one way of meeting more guys.
