Some of the best rugby players in the world will show how much they support soldiers by backing the Heroes Rugby Challenge this year.
The event marks the tenth anniversary of the armed forces operations in Afghanistan and follows a special match staged at Twickenham Stadium in 2008.
On that occasion some £1.46 million was raised for Help for Heroes and the charity says it wants to repeat this success when the challenge takes place on December 3rd this year.
The Northern Hemisphere XV – managed by Lawrence Dallaglio, Jason Leonard and Ieuan Evans – will be pitted against the Southern Hemisphere XV, led by Wallaby and All Black World Cup winners Michael Lynagh and Sean Fitzpatrick.
Adult tickets are priced at £40 and £30, while junior fees are £15 and £10.
The team captains and players have not yet been announced, but their names are expected to be released at the official launch in August.
