Help for Heroes will benefit from the proceeds of a new mobile app, which provides users with an inventive and military-themed game.
Players who download the Hero Bears game will be tasked with carrying a wounded bear through an obstacle course on a stretcher.
To achieve the highest score, users must keep going for as long as they possibly can, beating all the obstacles that are placed in front of them.
Hero Bears costs £1.99 to download and a donation of £1 is made from each sale, helping the charity in its work to support injured and wounded servicemen.
Appy Nation and Supersonic Software teamed up to develop the new app and make it available for release.
Andy Payne, chief executive of Appy Nation, told the Daily Telegraph: "It's family-friendly, it's compelling fun for father and son, mother and daughter, and the people who make the decision to purchase the app can feel good about it."
