The Help for Heroes charity has been given a boost from workers at Sanctuary Shaftesbury, who have taken part in a number of activities to raise cash for the cause.
Employees from the firm's Plymouth, Exeter, Reading and Salisbury offices took part in cake sales and dress-down days, while two members of staff competed in long-distance running events, 24dash.com reports.
Emma-Louise Jackson competed in the Bristol half-marathon and her colleague Cheryl Loker raced in the Cardiff half-marathon.
The combined efforts of the workers resulted in a total of more than £250 being raised for the organisation.
Regional director at the company Richard Keeley said: "Help for Heroes is an extremely pertinent charity and I hope these events will help to increase the public's awareness of our servicemen and women who have been injured."
The Courier recently reported The Skids are donating proceeds from the sale of a new DVD – which includes live footage and interviews with the band – to Help for Heroes.
