A black tie dinner in Fulham has raised over £10,000 for armed forces charity Help for Heroes.
There were a number of activities held at the event in order to collect as much cash as possible, including a champagne reception, buffet dinner and an auction, the Fulham Chronicle reports.
The whole night was in honour of Sam Alexander, who was killed by a bomb blast in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, in 2011.
A signed photo of Ralph Fiennes, a signed script of My Weekend with Marilyn by star Eddie Redmayne and a luxury trip along the Thames were among the prizes put under the hammer.
Sam's mother Serena Alexander said: "I would like to thank everybody who helped to organise the event and all the staff at Linden House. It was a wonderful evening."
The money will be used to help military personnel who have been injured in combat as they look to adjust to life back in the UK.
