A singer who showed his support for soldiers during a mammoth tour has said thank you to his fans.
Frankie Martin took on a challenge where he performed in pubs around the UK every day for a year and the Wiltshire Gazette & Herald explains he has now completed the feat.
Some £141,402 was raised for Help for Heroes and Mr Martin, from Nottingham, is grateful to those who have assisted him.
"I simply want to say the most massive thank you to every single pub and every single person for every single penny," Mr Martin is quoted as saying.
The BBC recently reported on the mission, which began on April 19th 2010 and has seen the singer travel 25,000 miles around the country.
He performed hits from Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra and revealed the attempts were inspired by his childhood, which was spent touring the world with his RAF father.
