Hearse driver attempts drive-through KFC

The unlikely sight of a hearse attempting to pick up a meal from KFC has astounded Twitter users this week.

Craig Davies posted an image showing the large vehicle, which was carrying a coffin at the time, attempting to pass through the drive-through area of the fast food restaurant.

He later fielded questions from journalists and other users of the social network, during which time he revealed the hearse driver had failed in his quest to enjoy a chicken meal while on the job.

In fact, the vehicle could not fit through the drive-through, so its driver had to settle for a trip to a nearby Starbucks.

Mr Davies even included the caption '#itswhathewouldhavewanted' alongside his photograph of the bizarre sight.

While some people have questioned whether the image is real, he remains adamant that it is genuine and that he cannot believe such a scene unfolded in front of his eyes.
