Help for Heroes is set to gain from a family fun day that is due to take place at a racecourse in the north of England this weekend.
Redcar Racecourse is gearing up to host the fourth annual Help for Heroes family fun day on Saturday (July 21st), reports the Northern Echo.
It is a key part of the Go Racing in Yorkshire Summer Racing Festival, which attracts racing fans of all ages to the course.
As part of the event in Redcar, there will be the chance for visitors to climb a cadets' training wall, sessions on life in the Yorkshire Regiment and the opportunity to try on a bomb disposal suit.
Such activities are not widely available, so anyone who fancies something a little bit different could be wise to get themselves down to the racecourse this weekend.
Gates open just after midday, allowing people plenty of time to enjoy themselves before the first race at 2.10pm.
