Guys ‘should choose online dating phrases carefully’

Putting together a profile that accurately reflects a person's identity and is able to attract the right kind of partner is one of the most important parts of online dating.

As well as selecting a suitable photograph, choosing the right words to describe themselves is also something users need to take seriously, as members of the opposite sex are likely to study these closely before making a date.

But while certain phrases are likely to greatly appeal to people looking for love, others may serve to turn a person off completely.

Indeed, Ethlie Ann Vare, author of Love Addict: Sex, Romance and Other Dangerous Drugs, has told the Huffington Post that if a man says he is down to earth, he is likely to be cheap and intent on splitting the bill, while those who describe themselves as great kissers are oversexed and will be looking for action on the first date.

Meanwhile, guys who claim to be a romantic might be serial daters, while those professing to be spiritual are unlikely to earn much money.
