A one-legged man has trekked to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for an armed forces charity.
John Sandford-Hart is collecting cash for Pilgrim Bandits and has been joined on the expedition by a number of ex-military personnel and Dragons' Den star Duncan Bannatyne, the Bournemouth Echo reports.
It is the second time Sandford-Hart – who lost his limb in a boating accident – has completed the challenge and the group hopes to raise over £12,000.
In total, four of the ex-servicemen who took part had lost a leg.
Rhys Jones, who helped organise the expedition, stated: "Killimanjaro is the highest walkable mountain in the world, but this is a tough climb, a real challenge for anyone, let alone someone with a prosthetic leg."
Pilgrim Bandits – which is based in the New Forest – seeks to help injured servicemen and women take on adventure trips to help them get their confidence back.
