Groom-to-be takes paintball to the groin on stag

A groom-to-be had a stag do to forget when paintballing with his pals.

Dan Littlejohn's wedding was almost ruined after he was shot in the groin at the paintball centre in Crawley, West Sussex, admitting he thought his wedding tackle was going to fall off when his testicles bruised and swelled.

Speaking to This is Sussex, the 30-year-old said it felt like his crown jewels were on fire – and he struggled to walk after noticing one testicle was much bigger than the other.

"I told the marshal – but I didn't want to show him and he didn't want to look so I went behind a tree to make sure everything was OK," he added.

His worried fiance Gemma suggested his balls had grown to almost the size of his head as she drove him to the hospital for treatment.

But despite Mr Littlejohn walking down the aisle like John Wayne, the couple were able to successfully tie the knot – although consummating the marriage on their wedding night was another matter!
