A special go-karting day due to be held in Shenington will aim to raise as much cash as possible for military charity Help for Heroes.
Shenington Kart Racing Club is hosting an action-packed day that will see it welcome visitors and offer a range of activities, including karting, reports the Banbury Guardian.
The event is scheduled to take place on April 27th, and could be ideal for those who have always dreamed of giving go-karting a go.
Dylan Evans, 16, and his father Keith have successfully applied to be a part of the adventure and they are keen to enjoy the day, while also raising money for the charity.
His mother Sally said: "Dylan finishes his GCSEs in June and it will be a wonderful reward to him for all of his hard work, which will hopefully culminate in him getting an engineering apprenticeship."
Upon arrival, attendees will be asked to pay £2 for entry, and they will receive a raffle ticket.
