An 18-year-old girl whose brother has fought on the frontline in Afghanistan is using her knitting skills to benefit wounded troops.
Lottie Keeble is raising money for the Help for Heroes charity by creating a giant woollen wristband, The Leader reports.
The teenager was inspired to start the challenge when her sibling Alistair came home after serving abroad with the Royal Marines 40 Commando unit.
And it seems the fundraiser has earned some celebrity backing for her endeavour, with Christine and Neil Hamilton sponsoring her £20.
Ms Keebele noted: "I've never knitted before so it was still a big challenge and I thought it'd be nice to use the same colours as the Help for Heroes wristband."
Her efforts have so far resulted in her collecting more than £400 for the cause.
Earlier in the week, This is Wiltshire revealed Australian cricket Shane Warne is to take part in a charity cricket tournament next year that aims to generate funds for Help for Heroes.
