Friends can help online daters find love

When people are trying to meet their perfect partner through online dating, it is a good idea for them to get a friend to help.

This is the assertion made by relationship psychotherapist Paula Hall, who noted singletons should make an effort to draw attention to their unique selling point.

In terms of drawing up this list, she stated that it is best to discuss it with a mate beforehand so they can offer advice and input.

"A close friend can not only be honest, but also ensure you're portrayed in the best possible light," Ms Hall remarked.

She continued by saying that those searching for a special someone need to be "committed and resilient" if they are going to be successful.

Ms Hall added individuals should also be "emotionally ready" to deal with any setbacks that come their way.

It comes after she stated meeting through the web can be less stressful than by more traditional methods.
