A supporter of the armed forces has given up her home to help soldiers injured while fighting for their country.

Jennefer Tobin has looked after nearly 200 wounded servicemen and women at her house, where she puts on activity days for the troops that include archery, climbing and falconry, the Scottish Sun reports.

The generous brigadier's daughter has even transformed her laundry space into a therapy room to allow the troops to relax.

Ms Tobin said: "We admire the valour of these young men and we want to show just how much we value what they have done."

Since opening her abode up to injured soldiers, the big-hearted carer has helped out members of all different sections in the forces, including men from the Royal Marines, the Coldstream Guards, Black Watch and the parachute Regiment.

The Hamilton Advertiser recently reported former soldier Gordon Sustins is to run the 2011 Virgin London Marathon to raise money for the Help for Heroes cause.
