A football fan will run 163 miles to one of his team's games to raise money for Help for Heroes.
Colin Andrew, who is a lifelong follower of Southport FC, will complete the journey unaided and carrying his own supplies, the Southport Visiter reports.
It will take him three-and-a-half days to cover the distance and it is the longest jog he has ever undertaken.
"I thought I would create my own unique challenge by combining two of my passions, football and running. I have a real goal to aim for," Mr Andrew added.
For him to be successful, the man will have to arrive at Grimsby Town's Blundell Park – which is located in Cleethorpes – by 13:00 BST on April 28th.
Mr Andrew has previously completed ten marathons and six ultra-marathons – the longest being 62 miles.
He is hoping that local businesses and residents will support him generously.
