Fishy prank leaves foul smell for Balotelli

What's the best prank you've ever played on a friend?

While most of us would stick to something small and moderately embarrassing, it seems Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli's mates have taken things to another level, by ruining his £150,000 Maserati.

According to reports in the Sun, an unknown prankster placed a bag of kippers behind the seat of the motor and left them there for two weeks.

When the Italian returned from a US tour, he opened the door to find the fishy surprise.

A source says: "The smell nearly made him sick. It was revolting.

"There were flies in the car and the leather seats in the back had rotting fish all over them."

The news source claims it could make the flashy set of wheels a write off, as the interior reeks so badly.

Hopefully the star will take it in good humour, as he's no stranger to unusual antics.

Earlier this year it emerged he won £25,000 in a casino and gave £1,000 of the dosh to a homeless person.
