A fashion show is due to be held in Havering with the intention of raising money for military charity Help for Heroes (H4H).
Karen Wilton has decided to arrange a procession in which the very best fashion and creations can be shown off, reports the Romford Recorder.
She noted there is a wide range of fashion firms in Havering that are successful, but not being given the chance to promote their designs.
"Brentwood has got a really good reputation for fashion and creative business and I don't see any reason why Havering should not have one too," Ms Wilton stated.
A host of models have already agreed to take part in the competition, including The Face of Essex winner Ruby Cooke and Gina Negus.
Adam Ryan from Essex Fashion Week will act as compere and several local businesses will show off their clothes in a bid to raise money for H4H.
