The IT market has welcomed some exciting new technologies in recent years, but printing your own food might be taking things one step further than ever before.
Expert inventors behind the 3D printer have come up with their latest creation called Foodini, which could revolutionise home cooking in the future.
A special cooking printer is used to make dishes including pizza and pasta, as well as sweet treats like cakes.
The product is expected to be made available for sale at a price of £835 and people will also have to buy capsules of food and ingredients that can be used to make meals.
A spokesman for the company admitted there are one or two shortfalls at the moment, as he stated: "Foodini does not automate all your cooking, nor does it cook food. If necessary, it can keep food warm as it works as it contains a heating element."
