A trio of members from one family in Bedford are set to get cycling in order to support Help for Heroes.
Wayne Haley, 51, and his sons Tom and Adam will take part in a 100-mile ride from Tidworth in Wiltshire to Blackheath in London, reports the Bedfordshire News.
The ride is taking place on June 8th and will be the second year in a row the family has done its bit for the charity.
Last year, the three men took part in the DIY Hero Ride, where participants choose their own starting place, but wanted to join an organised route this year.
Tom Haley said: "Having personally met someone who has lost a limb, we decided we wanted to do something which would help our injured service men and women long term."
He noted that seeing how much it means to former soldiers makes the effort required entirely worthwhile.
