Egyptian man ‘comes back from the dead’

Imagine turning up at your own funeral.

It would certainly be a strange feeling and one that Hamdi Hafez al-Nubi has experienced.

The Egyptian waiter was set to be buried after suffering a heart attack while at work.

However, his relatives noticed he was still warm as they were wrapping his body as per Islamic tradition and so a doctor was sent for and amazingly, they were able to bring Mr al-Nubi back to life.

Just to add a bit more drama to the situation, his mother fainted after hearing the news and had to be treated as well.

It certainly is an incredible story and I'm sure Mr al-Nubi now feels like he has a second chance at living.

He is not the only person to have defied the odds recently, as a 95-year-old Chinese woman came back to life last month after people thought she was dead for six days.
