Dancing shoplifter caught after CCTV footage goes viral

You would imagine that thieves would try and be as inconspicuous as possible when going about the deed.

However, a young man in New Jersey seemed to get caught up in the act after he started dancing and stealing clothes at the same time.

Although Anthony DiVietro was stopped by a security guard at the department store, he dropped his swag and ran off.

However, canny police officers posted the security video of him boogying on YouTube and after it went viral, his identity was revealed and the copes were able to arrest him.

Detective Chuck Dougherty of the Gloucester Township Police told WPVI-TV: "It's like the old days when you'd go to the post office and see the wanted flyers on the wall. Now people can … watch these videos."

I'd imagine that the criminal feels a bit stupid now, as he will have it on his record forever.
