Help for Heroes is set to benefit financially once a DIY store in Bradford goes through with plans to host a special event in its honour.

B&Q on the Euroway Trading Estate in the West Yorkshire city is holding a fun day, with all of the proceeds going to the military charity, reports the Bradford Telegraph & Argus.

Among the attractions that will be on offer to guests when the event takes place on August 24th will be a bouncy castle, games, stalls and a bucking bronco.

Customer adviser Mandy Wooller, who is in charge of the store's community events, said: "There's going to be a lot going on. It's quite a big fun day. I was off for Armed Forces weekend and thought we would do this instead."

In addition to the fun and games, the Air Cadets will be in attendance to show their support for Help for Heroes and those who raise money for it.ADNFCR-2867-ID-801620512-ADNFCR
