Many people around Britain are looking to honour soldiers fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq by getting the design of a cupcake tattooed on their bodies.
The Scunthorpe Telegraph explains tattooist Rose Elizabeth is just one of those contributing to fundraising efforts in aid of Help for Heroes.
Costing £20, the tattoos hope to mark people's support for soldiers serving in the armed forces and the publication explains the move hopes to raise £60,000 for the charity.
Joint owner of ABH Tattooing Pam Green says: "It's about time the tattoo industry gave back.
"We've never been known for charity work and everyone thinks we're rough and tough but this is showing us in a different light."
Ink For Heroes will be held at Catterick Garrison in June to celebrate efforts from around the country, with the charity tattoo festival a culmination of the fundraising done so far.
The event's website explains the Cupcake Club was formed in September 2010 and sees representatives travel the UK to raise money to assist injured soldiers.
