Couples ‘need to spend quality time together’

When embarking on a new relationship, it is important that couples can find some common interests.

This will make the initial stages of the courtship easier, as they will both be taking part in activities they enjoy.

Carlos Xuma, author of Secrets of the Alpha Male, noted men need to avoid the situation whereby months have elapsed without them spending some quality time with their girlfriend.

However, this does not mean they need to give up their own interests, such as watching football, but rather they just need to make sure women fit into this schedule.

He believes the key is to turn events into social occasions, as this way ladies will feel part of the day, regardless of whether they actually enjoy whatever the activity is.

Among Mr Xuma's top tips is to ask their friends to bring their partners with them, as this way the conversation will not be too male-centric.
