Couple gets married dressed as skeletons

As Halloween has recently passed, there have been lots of people dressed up in ghoulish fare.

However, one couple decided to take the celebrations even further and got hitched dressed as skeletons.

Steve and Karen Vailes took to Bristol Registry Office in their not-so-traditional outfits and all of their guests followed suit, with plenty of vampires, witches and monsters on show.

Mr Vailes stated: "I wanted a good, fun day and with it being Halloween, thought that would be a good theme."

He admitted to some nerves about the unique dress code, but said these disappeared after he got his face painted.

The pair are not going away on their honeymoon until next year, but said there is no way Transylvania is on their wish list.

Another couple who enjoyed a bizarre-themed outing was Andy and Tracey Monaghan, who renewed their wedding vows last year dressed as a zombie and corpse bride respectively.
