Club to hold charity event for Help for Heroes

A special charitable fun night is due to be held at an ex-servicemen's club in Flixton later this month in a bid to raise as much money as possible for Help for Heroes.

The Messenger has told how Flixton Ex Servicemen's Club in Flixton Road will host the event on September 27th, with proceedings getting underway at 20:00 BST.

Heaps of entertainment will be on offer to all those who attend the bash, with a live band lined up to play and a grand auction, raffle and disco all on the agenda.

Admission for the evening is £4 and people who take part will know that the money they spend is going towards one of the UK's most worthy causes.

Help for Heroes works tirelessly to support members of the armed forces who have suffered an injury during their time serving their country, with rehabilitation centres and support schemes in operation.
