A bar in the centre of Whitby is holding a Christmas hamper raffle to generate cash for wounded troops.
Harry's Bar on Pier Road is organising the event, which will see participants having the opportunity to go home with a basket full of goods worth more than £250, the Whitby Gazette reports.
The hamper contains champagne, Southern Comfort, Baileys, biscuits, sweets and cake, among other treats, with the money raised being donated to Help for Heroes.
A special teddy bear representing the charity will also be included in the bundle.
Julie Tuby, whose family has donated the prize, said: "We hope that by people buying a raffle ticket to win this hamper, it will allow us all to give a moment of thought for our brave heroes."
The Tewkesbury Admag recently reported students at Prince Henry's High School are holding a talent show in an effort to raise money for Help for Heroes.
