Choose ‘right information’ for online profiles

Singletons have to find the right balance when it comes to putting information on their online dating profile.

According to Online News Today, individuals should use common sense and make sure they only list details that are interesting.

"You don't want to be too over the top to frighten potential mates away, but enough that you sound interesting and people will reply to your messages," the news provider observed.

It added a profile should be treated by a person as an opportunity to market themselves in a positive light.

One thing that individuals should never forget is to have some fun with the whole process.

There is no point in getting wound up and nervous ahead of every first date, as then very often singletons will forget to enjoy the experience.

Instead, people should be looking for opportunities to spot members of the opposite sex that have shared interests.
