Choir to hold concert in aid of Help for Heroes

A choir in Kent is to put on a special performance in order to raise money for military charity Help for Heroes.

Thanet Male Voice Choir will host the concert on Saturday (April 27th) at St George's School in Broadstairs, where a number of hymns, songs and easy-listening tunes will be performed, reports This is Kent.

William Friend, owner of East Northdown Farm Nursery and Business Centre, has already agreed to sponsor the evening.

He explained he has strong family connections with the military and is keen to support the current crop of young men and women in the forces.

"Singing has always played an important part of my life. I enjoy the camaraderie of the Thanet Male Voice Choir here in Kent," Mr Friend added.

His reason for sponsoring the event is to ensure all the funds raised on the night find their way to the good cause that is Help for Heroes.
