Chocolate taster forced to step down over health fears

For a lot of people, their ideal job would be chocolate tasting.

Getting paid to sample different bars of chocolate does sound like a pretty good gig, but Angus Kennedy is being forced to quit this role.

The 47-year-old, who was on £30,000 a year, has been warned by doctors that his cholesterol is dangerously high as a result of consuming 2lbs of goodies every day.

Indeed, the sweet stuff aficionado has piled on two stone since landing the role back in 2010.

"Eating chocolate for a living really was the dream job. I was given a golden ticket to sample the world's craziest, tastiest new goodies and review them in the magazine," Mr Kennedy stated.

He added a recent health check had discovered his arteries were no longer in good shape.

It seems that all good things do have to come to an end, but I'm sure there will be plenty of takers for his job.
