Help for Heroes is set to benefit from the money raised at a charitable music event due to take place this week.
The Middens and The Rouges, two up and coming bands with plenty of promise, will appear at a show in Whitley Bay on Friday (October 11th), reports the News Guardian.
Each of the groups will show off their skills and play some of their latest tracks at The Avalon in the town, with the gig due to get underway at 19:00 BST.
All of the money raised on the night will be donated to Help for Heroes, which has a proud reputation for supporting injured servicemen and, in some cases, putting them on the right road to another career once their days in the military are over.
People who are interested in attending the show at The Avalon can visit the Facebook page of either The Middens or The Rouges, where tickets are available.
