A leading car company has chosen Help for Heroes as its official charity of the year and will aim to raise as much money as possible for it.
Motorpoint, which is a car supermarket located in the north-west, has set a target of raising £20,000 for the military charity, reports the Lancashire Telegraph.
It is set to host a number of fundraising events over the coming months, with all money being donated to Help for Heroes.
The Cheshire Cat 100 Bike Ride, which is due to take place next month, is the first of these, while the Tough Mudder Challenge in Berkshire in April is another.
Jon Grace, general manager of Motorpoint Burnley, said: "We consulted widely with our staff about who we should support this year and they voted unanimously to support the work of this wonderful organisation."
Motorpoint has plenty of history of raising money for charity, as in 2013 it generated £15,000 for air ambulance causes.
