A car boot sale will be held in Warminster later this month in a bid to raise money for Help for Heroes.

The military charity, which offers support to injured servicemen and women, is the principal beneficiary of a planned event in the Wiltshire town.

According to the Wiltshire Times, year 13 students from Kingdown School have come up with the idea and will be running the sale on November 17th.

It will be held in the car park outside Avenue Primary School in Warminster and is due to run from 08:00 GMT until noon.

Each person who wants to sell goods from the back of their car will be required to pay a pitch fee of £5, while that sum will rise to £6 if booked on the day.

All of the money collected will be handed to Help for Heroes, which will use it to get ex-military personnel back on their feet after coming out of the services.ADNFCR-2867-ID-801659188-ADNFCR
