British Cycling has thrown its weight behind a significant event this June that will aim to raise a huge sum of money for Help for Heroes.

The military charity has been named as the beneficiary of the Help for Heroes Ride, with the flagship route being taken on by riders in London.

However, there will also be a host of other courses for keen cyclists to complete in aid of the charity, including those in Bath, Oxford, Birmingham and Windsor.

Jon-Allan Butterworth took part in the first Help for Heroes Ride and said: "If we can raise some money and maybe inspire more people to get on bikes and enjoy all that cycling has to offer then it will be a great success."

Mr Butterworth went on to explain that the ride is a wonderful opportunity to build up a fund for a very special charity and could also inspire many people to get on their bikes.ADNFCR-2867-ID-801587662-ADNFCR
