A young boy from Mildenhall is preparing to host a karatethon that will aim to raise as much money as possible for Help for Heroes.
Christopher Clarke, ten, is currently looking for other people to join him in the 12-hour martial arts event, reports the Bury Free Press.
He loves getting involved in sporting contests and has taken part in the Barrow Challenge several times in order to raise funds for charities.
"The military stand up for our country and if they have been disabled or wounded that's not right, so if I can raise some money to help them, that's what I want to do."
People who want to get involved do not have to stick it out for the full 12 hours, as he is keen for participants even for just a couple of hours.
Nor does a lack of karate experience matter, as Christopher's instructor Glen Moulds is set to be on hand to offer advice and tuition.
