Best man replaces speech with Britney Spears routine

Best men are often among the first to make a fool of themselves at weddings, but one man in the US has taken things to a new level.

Instead of delivering a traditional speech – in which he would have been expected to make fun of the groom – Bradley Bredeweg opted to think outside the box and perform an iconic Britney Spears dance routine.

All of the performance was captured on camera and has become an internet hit, as people around the world enjoy the unusual dedication.

Mr Bredeweg was joined on the floor by a number of male and female dancers, who gyrated to Britney's hit song Work B****.

And the quirky wedding video shot to fame earlier this week when the pop star herself took to Twitter to highlight it.

Since then, online users have been busy viewing and commenting on the spectacular show.
